Identifying CPMs
Wherever we serve we fuel church planting movements—directly and by empowering others. Church planting movements (CPMs) vary from place to place. Here are the common characteristics.
1. Connecting: Reproducing entry strategies
In every CPM, Christians are effectively and exponentially making a meaningful gospel contact with thousands of lost people.
2. Gospel: Reproducing evangelism
In every CPM, lost people by the thousands are hearing, understanding and embracing the good news of Jesus Christ.
3. Discipling: Reproducing discipleship
In every CPM, new and emerging believers are growing in their relationship to Christ as they are taught to obey the Word.
4. Church Formation: Reproducing church planting
In every CPM, new discipleship-based churches are being formed and reproduced throughout the population.
5. Multiplying: Reproducing leadership development
In every CPM, effective leaders are being raised up who are ‘fully equipped for every good work.
